Harvest wild tea materials from the wintery woods with co-founder Jed Jordan and brew it over the campfire. Jed will share natural history about our local bioregion and offer ideas for incorporating nature into your work-life balance (and the classroom!) while the healthful forest tea nourishes your soul. Dress for the weather, and BYO Mug! Teachers whose children are registered for any portion of our Winter Camp are invited to join our Forest Tea Time at no cost. All others, suggested donation is $20-$30 with all proceeds go to our scholarship fund.
Primitive Pursuits is an outdoor education program of Cornell Cooperative Extension. We’ve been connecting youth and adults to the natural world for over 20 years, but did you know that we love collaborating with teachers too? We will have materials available for teachers about partnership and (curriculum-related) field trip opportunities as well as summer employment for teachers at our legendary summer camps.
